Yamaha YZF-R description

Selling my 2000 Yamaha YZF600R. It has a little over 15k miles on it. Brand new tires, Front was put on about 2 weeks ago and rear was put on about a month ago. Yoshimura RS-3 Exhaust. Brand new brake bads, Brand new Chain and Sprockets For quicker acceleration. Needs Mirrors and front turn signals. Has a few cosmetic damages from the weather. It was dropped by the previous owner, most dings and scratches are from the weather. I am Asking for $2500 but i'm willing to negotiate. Stoner explains the tank slapper

Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.

2012 Yamaha TMax Announced for Canada

Yamaha announced it is importing the newly updated for 2012 TMax maxi-scooter to Canada. First unveiled at the 2011 EICMA show, the 2012 Yamaha TMax received a sportier facelift and an updated 530cc engine Yamaha claims is lighter, more efficient and offers more torque at low- and mid-rpms compared to the 499cc engine found on the 2011 model. Yamaha claims the updated TMax can get up to 53 mpg, compared to the previous model’s 47 mpg claims.

Yamaha Trademarks YZF-R3

Yamaha has filed for a trademark with the European Union for the names “YZF-R3” and “R3“. The trademark applications were filed Jan. 6 and are still under review, but once approved, we should expect Yamaha to introduce a new YZF-R3 soon after.
