Yamaha YZ description

LOOKS AND RUNS LIKE NEW>>>ONLY 3 HOURS OF USE.. I am the original owner of this bike. List price on this bike was $7099 and I still have the original purchase receipt.  I bought this 2007 yz450f to ride with my kids but only got out a few times.   I am 45 years old with some back issues and no longer have room in my shed, so this one will go to a new lucky owner.  The bike is in pristine condition and looks and runs like it was rolled off the showroom floor.  I am a meticulous owner and take good care of my things.  Bike has been started up every month and fuel changed out every six months with fuel preservative added.  Bike has never had any upgrade or repair work done to it.  It has had minimal use, I would guess LESS THAN 3 hrs. The tires are original with minimal wear as seen in pics.  The bike is completely stock and strong.  Full return of deposit if you are not satisfied.  Auction will include the $100 bike stand, a nice specialty Yamaha cover and two new pre-oiled filters. I also have lots of gear that I will let go for cheap to the winning bidder. I am starting the bid at 1 dollar and the bike will go to the lucky highest bidder.  Please check my feedback and bid with confidence.  Text with any questions 912-618-0039 Dean

GSX-R600 and CBR250R the glass is half full

Wed, 13 Oct 2010

Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong.  As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.

Dirt First By MotoVentures

Wed, 05 Feb 2014

MotoVentures, the long-running (since 1998) dirt bike riding instruction company is changing its name from simply MotoVentures to the more descriptive Dirt First by MotoVentures. The new moniker more appropriately describes the company’s training activities and philosophy about the best way to learn how to ride a motorcycle begins in the dirt. “Our Dirt First training curriculum is very practical with no ceiling or limitations,” says MotoVentures President, Gary LaPlante. ”Our highly qualified, well-trained instructors are capable of teaching everyone from kids to adults and beginners to experts.

Day 3 Dakar 2014: Barreda Maintains Overall Lead, Despres Catches Up

Tue, 07 Jan 2014

Joan Barreda won his second special stage this year and now boasts a lead of more than 13 minutes over Cyril Despres and Marc Coma, the two other beneficiaries of a particularly decisive stage. Today’s stage, part one of the first marathon stage with no team service, was characterized by the highest ever racing altitude in Dakar history. Facing the 22,841 foot summit of the Aconcagua, South America´s highest mountain, the motorcycle riders had to cross a pass over 14,107 feet in elevation in trial-like conditions.
