Is a full restored Yamaha YZ250V 2 Stroke. This bike has been restored to better than new. I was building a race bike but not able to ride now.This bike has only about a mile on it after restoration. I will try to touch on some of the things done to this bike. Installed steel sleeve bored to stock specs with racing piston. Reed valves with spacer, Moose fly wheel weight. Fat bars, new chain and sprockets, griper seat, new tires, rebuilt suspension front and rear, metal throttle tube, new cables, metal skid plate, Pro Circuit exhaust, Restyled 2014 UFO plastics, Blue frame guards and chain guards, blue chain, Black rims, new blue spokes, new wheel bearings, all new fluids. This is not every thing but gives you a idea how much I put into this bike. I would like to think better than new. Shot me your best offer, I am sure some one would have a hard time finding a bike as clean or as built as this one. No short cuts were taken. Shipping is on the buyer. 2011 Isle of Man TT Recap
Fri, 10 Jun 2011The Isle of Man TT usually provides a lot of drama, and this year’s event was no different. John McGuinness, second on the all-time TT wins list, added two more wins to his resume to win the Joey Dunlop Trophy while MotoCzysz once again fell just short of taking the bounty for being the first electric motorcycle team to record a 100 mph lap on the Mountain Course. The 2011 Isle of Man TT also had its share of tragedy with three racing fatalities.
2014 Yamaha YZ450F and YZ250F Recalled
Wed, 26 Feb 2014Yamaha is recalling 2014 YZ450F and YZ250F off-ride motorcycles because of a risk of the drive chain detaching. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recall affects 1,300 units in the U.S. while Transport Canada says another 115 units are affected north of the border.
Isle of Man TT 2013: Monster Energy Supersport Race 1 Results
Mon, 03 Jun 2013Michael Dunlop captured his second victory in the 2013 Isle of Man TT, winning the first Supersport race a day after doing the same in the Superbike race. But it was a different Dunlop that led early on the first lap. Older brother William Dunlop on the Milwaukee Yamaha R6 had the fastest time through Glen Helen, between the ninth and tenth milestones of the Isle of Man’s Mountain course.
