I am the original owner of this four stroke yamaha. I bought the yz400f for $5,518 and still have the receipt (see pics). I purchased this bike to to keep up with my kids as they rode their smaller bikes. I am 45 years old with some back issues and no longer have room in my shed, so this one will go to a new lucky owner. I am a meticulous owner and take good care of my things. It is as strong as the day I bought it. Oil, Plugs, filters and fuel are changed regularly. This bike has had minimal use, I would guess less than 18 hrs. The tires are original with minimal wear as seen in pics. Aside from the new stickers and a good gold chain, the bike is completely stock and strong. Auction will include the $100 bike stand seen in the photos. I also have lots of gear that I will let go for cheap to the winning bidder. Yamaha Confirms Leaning Multi-Wheeler for 2014 – Will the Tesseract Concept Finally Become Reality?
Wed, 03 Jul 2013Yamaha confirmed it plans to introduce a new Leaning Multi-Wheeler (LMW) vehicle for 2014. An accompanying image of a test unit in camouflage reveals two closely-aligned front wheels beneath a broad fairing. The new model will be a three-wheeler similar to Piaggio‘s MP3 scooter instead of the four wheels like the Tesseract concept (pictured further below) first introduced at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.
2015 Yamaha XC155 Scooter Gets CARB Approval
Thu, 28 Aug 2014The Honda PCX150 may be getting some new competition, as the California Air Resource Board granted an executive order certifying the 155cc Yamaha XC155 scooter. Available in Asian markets last August under the names Majesty S and SMax. Sporting a fuel-injected 155cc liquid-cooled four-valve Single, the XC155 inherits the styling of larger Yamaha scooters including the 395cc Majesty that was part of the company’s U.S.

Tue, 24 Nov 2009NO IT'S NOT an illusion: you're looking at the 1981 Yamaha OW53, ridden by double World Champion Barry Sheene in the first three rounds of the '81 500GP championship. The bike's owner, aircraft engineering entrepreneur Chris Wilson, has lent the £100,000 GP machine to Visordown for our stand at this year's NEC Motorcycle Show - 27th November to 6th December 2009. Sheene raced the bike in the 1981 championship, where he finished fourth at Salzburgring, sixth at Hockenheim and third at Monza.
