If you are in the market for an XT500, then this is the one. This motorcycle is in excellent shape with low milage. This is a historic motorcycle 37 years old that looks great and runs like new. I have had several XTs over the years, this one is the cleanest and in the best condition that i have had. It may be the cleanest XT I have ever seen.
Everything on this bike works. It has the original motor, fenders forks side panels seat, fuel tank in excellent condition, It is just beautiful. This bike has the factory electronic ignition 1980 is the first year for electric ignitions. Here are two youtube videos. Please view I have a clear Maryland Title for this motorcycle. There is no inspection necessary here on vehicles older than 25 years. |

Thu, 03 Apr 2014Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., is proud to announce that it has signed on as sponsor for the GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout Presented By Yamaha, a three-event championship motorcycle road racing series that includes the Yamaha SoCal Nationals at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA on April 26-27; the Pacific Nationals at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, CA on May 3-4; and the Mountain Nationals at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT on May 24-25. The announcement was made by Bob Starr, General Manager of National Communications for Yamaha’s Motorsports Group. Yamaha Unveils 2012 MotoGP Livery – Massive Gallery and Video
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Yamaha has pulled the covers off the 2012 edition of its YZR-M1, the machines which racers Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies will ride to compete in the 2012 MotoGP World Championship. While last year’s M1 was predominantly blue, the new 1000cc version of the M1 sports more white paint with wide bands of Yamaha blue on the front fairing and along the side, flowing along the line of the seat. Like most MotoGP squads, Yamaha doesn’t want to be too specific about its MotoGP bike’s potential, estimating the power output from the crossplane crankshaft engine at over 240 hp.
