 FOR SALE YAMAHA V-STAR CLASSIC 650 CC, YEAR 1998. THIS IS A VERY NICE BIKE. WHAT I HAVE DONE TO IT IS AS FOLLOWS.

INSTALLED NEW K&N AIR FILTER, ADDED NEW OIL AND CHANGED FILTER. NEW TIRES, CARS CLEANED BY ME MECHANIC.. 

THIS IS A GREAT CRUISER, EXCELLENT ON GAS MILEAGE AND VERY DEPENDABLE. NO MAINTENANCE REQUIRED, JUST RIDE AND ENJOY THE SCENERY.

You are bidding on a 1999 Yamaha VStar 650 Classic. The bike is very nimble and looks good riding down the road. This is a carbureted bike and starts every time with use of the manual choke and only takes about 30 seconds to warm up even on a cold morning. I have the clear title in hand. You're welcome to come and take a look at the bike if you would like and give it a test drive with cash to cover purchase..you drop you bought. Features:

The color of the bike is black and chrome and is in very good condition given the age of the bike.

The windshield is nearly like-new clear (hardly any scratch marks and no haziness).

The front and rear tire is brand new.

The bike sounds great.  

The transmission is a 5 speed shifter with a shaft-drive.

The driver’s seat is a comfortable solo seat in good condition No tears, cracks, or seam separation.

The chrome wheels are still in fairly good condition with relatively little rust for a 15 year old bike.

Battery is brand new.

Full Disclosure:

Paint shows the wear of a fifteen year old bike and could use a buff our and polish.  Chrome has light surface rust in spots that can be cleaned up.

Six more rounds remain in the 2012 AMA Supercross season and the championship is more or less decided. The first third of the season was a thrilling four-man fight for the title. The middle of the season saw contenders drop like flies and now, what looked to be a dramatic battle for the title is shaping up to be a second consecutive AMA Supercross Championship for Ryan Villopoto.

If you live in the southern California area and are attending the Progressive International Motorcycle Show at the Long Beach Convention Center this weekend, Dec. 9-11, do everything you can to make it Friday before 5:30 as three of Yamaha’s best and brightest stars will be on hand to meet and greet fans, as well as pose for pictures. Yamaha MotoGP rider and former Yamaha World Superbike Champion Ben Spies, Monster Tech 3 Yamaha MotoGP rider and former Yamaha World Supersport Champion Cal Crutchlow, and Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha rider and two-time defending AMA Pro Racing American SuperBike Champion Josh Hayes will all be signing autographs and greeting fans at the Yamaha display.
