For sale is my 2008 V Star 1300, with No Reserve. I bought this bike new in 2008 and ended up laying it down in August of 2009. Due to the accident I replaced the handlebars, gas tank, front fender, headlight, front turn signal, and front mirror. The only other things I changed on the bike are the smoke colored turn signal lenses, added floorboard extenders (because I am tall), and drilled out the exhaust baffle. After fixing the bike I rarely rode it and it sat in the garage most of the time. The last time I started it was about a year ago. I'm not sure what all will need to be done to get it on the road but I'm assuming a good cleaning, replacing all fluids and a tune up at least. The tires and belt are original and have never been replaced. There is some scratches on the right side of the gas tank and some chips on the brackets the mirrors mount to. Overall the bike is in good shape. It has only 2454 miles and would be a good winter project for someone. Bike is sold AS IS/WHERE IS with No Reserve. I have a clear title in hand, winning bid takes it. The bike is in West Columbia, SC (29169). $300 deposit must be made by the highest bidder within 24 hours of the auction ending. John McGuinness, second on the all-time TT wins list, added two more wins to his resume to win the Joey Dunlop Trophy while MotoCzysz once again fell just short of taking the bounty for being the first electric motorcycle team to record a 100 mph lap on the Mountain Course. The 2011 Isle of Man TT also had its share of tragedy with three racing fatalities.
AMA Pro SuperBike Heads To Road America For Round 2 Of AMA Pro Road Racing
Fri, 30 May 2014The 2014 AMA Pro Road Racing season resumes this weekend with the Subway SuperBike Doubleheader at Road America, in Elkhart Lake, Wis., and all eyes will be on 21-year-old AMA Pro SuperBike rookie Cameron Beaubier on the No. 2 Monster Energy Graves Yamaha YZF-R1. Beaubier may be the new kid on the block, but he entered the season opener at Daytona International Speedway with high expectations.
