Yamaha TMAX description

Up for sale is a used Yamaha Tmax 499cc.  To call this a scooter is a little bit of an understatement, we always thought of it as an automatic motorcycle.    A few details about the bike:

  • 2nd owner
  • No accidents
  • No mechanical issues, serviced by authorized Yamaha dealer (will need an oil change and check up as we have not completed for this year)
  • Clear title and paid off for quick transfer
  • 7240 miles currently, may have a few more when purchased, but it is being ridden very rarely, which is the reason for sale.
  • Includes trunk and small zippered pack good for storing glasses, gloves, etc.
  • J. Costa variator (speed control) installed, making power delivery and acceleration smoother and more immediate than the stock unit (which is included in the sale)
  • Aftermarket carbon fiber pieces on handle bars, originals included.
  • Original tires
  • Women driven
  • See our feedback - we are a business and have been in the same location for 15+ years.   We are not scammers, just don't want to get scammed which is the reason for our payment options.
Please let me know if there are other details you would like to know that you cannot see from the pictures.

Test drive:
  • Test drive is no problem, just need to show a valid drivers license with cycle endorsement, and bring a helmet for use during the drive.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a test drive if we feel the rider does not have the skill to handle this machine (it is not a typical scooter - very powerfull).  In this instance, the potential buyer can be a passenger while we take it for a drive.
Down Payment - due within 24 hours of auction close:
  • 10% of purchase price using PayPal.

Final Payment - due within 7 days of auction close:

  • Balance of purchase price is through wire transfer in advance of pick up - allows for quickest possession of the bike.
  • Personal/Bank check or money order in advance - allow approximately 5 days for them to clear before scheduling pick-up.
  • Cash - would have to take to our bank (20 minutes from our location) to verify funds are legitimate, then we can proceed with the pick-up and title transfer.

Pick-up/Shipping - buyer arranges:

  • Buyer is responsible for pick-up or arranging transportation.
  • We will be as flexible as possible with the chosen method.
