2013 Yamaha Super Tenere 1200cc, 6 speed, ABS, traction control, 2 performance modes. Bought as a new in the crate leftover in fall of 2015. Only 1,300 miles. Pearl white. Tricked out with AltRider gear top to bottom. Sargent carbon fiber pattern seat. Givi Maxima top case. Yoshimura RS4 pipe. 2016 model kickstand. Kaoko throttle control, ROX bar risers, Cyclops LED light bar mounted - wiring not completed. Madstad adjustable shield mount, wind wings, etc. NO GPS, I removed it after pics were taken. This bike won Adventure Bike of the year winning over the forever reining champion BMW 1200gs. Try to buy a new Tenere and equip it like this and you will have over $20,000 in it. Yamaha Officially Announces Monster Energy Sponsorship
Tue, 08 Jan 2013As we reported in December, energy drink producer Monster Energy has signed a sponsorship agreement with Yamaha‘s factory MotoGP program, putting its brand on the Yamaha YZR-M1 race bikes, team clothing and equipment, as well as riders Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi. Monster Energy already had a personal sponsorship deal with Rossi but the company will now also sponsor Lorenzo. The reigning MotoGP Champion had previously had a sponsorship arrangement with rival energy drink company RockStar, but Yamaha exercised a clause in its contract with Lorenzo allowing a buy out of the RockStar deal as it conflicts with the team’s sponsor.
Yamaha to Export Motorcycles from India to Japan – Yes, You Read That Right
Thu, 26 Jul 2012In what may be a first for a Japanese manufacturer, Yamaha will be exporting motorcycles produced in India to its home market. Yamaha is shipping 300 units the YZF-R15 to Japan to test the market’s appetite for the 150cc sport bike. The R15 is manufactured by India Yamaha Motor at its plant in Surajpur, India.

Yamaha is the first official OEM partner of AIMExpo, a landmark step in the continued growth of the event, which is hoping to be a viable rival to DealerExpo as a powersports industry destination. Yamaha’s range of powersports products comprises both the Yamaha and Star motorcycle brands.
