Yamaha RD400 description

Nice original 1976 Yamaha RD400 up for grabs.

This RD is in pretty good shape for its age. The original paint looks nice! The tank has a small nicks and is not perfect,  but overall the body work still looks really good on this one! According to the previous owner, The bike was drained of fluids and put away sometime in the 1980's, where it sat until recently. The clutch feels good, and the bike shifts through all the gears. The motor kicks over with plenty of compression. Brakes do not currently work, will need fluid added. Would suggest a full tune up before attempting to start the bike, and it would be best to make sure there is adequate oil and in the motor. The chrome is in excellent shape, and seat is in good shape as well. **One thing I did notice was that the steering stem bearings are shot and will need to be replaced. The bike has a clean and clear title ready to transfer. I have the turn signal that is not pictured as well. Please examine pictures closely! Overall , this is a nice original bike that shouldn't take much at all to get going down the road.

Bike can be stored for up to 30 days after sale. $500 Deposit via PayPal due within 24 hours. Balance due via wire transfer, cash or PayPal friends and family payment.

Revealed at EICMA, the FZ-07 slots in under the three-cylinder FZ-09 (known as the MT-09 outside of the North America) with a newly-developed liquid-cooled 689cc parallel-Twin engine.

Rossi’s Ranch: Valentino’s Personal Playground

Tue, 23 Jul 2013

What does Valentino Rossi do when he’s not riding his Yamaha M1 around the best racetracks in the world? He relaxes at home in Tavullia, Italy, and rides motorcycles around his newly developed dirt track dubbed, “Rossi’s Ranch.” “It’s like a dream from when you’re a child,” says Rossi. “You hope at one moment you can buy your own racetrack.” It’s safe to say Rossi is financially stable enough at this moment in time to where he can make his childhood dream a reality.
