Yamaha R6 description

WOW!  Is the only word to describe this clean, one owner R6.  It has a few light scrateches on the black part of the lower fairing from bikes rubbing together in the trailer.  The only other negative is that the key switch doesnt turn smoothly.  Uopi jhave to wiggle it a little and then it works just fine.  Its not a big deal, it takes maybe two seconds of a wiggle to turn on.  This bike has brand new (ZERO MILES) Michelin Pilot series tires on it too!  With only 13,800 miles on it, it was hardly ridden (only about 1300miles per year).  This bike runs and drives like brand new.  There are aftermarket adjustable clutch and brake levers and a GYTR exhaust on it.  Other than that, it is stock.  It is most likely the nicest, well care for R6 that you will find around that year.  This bike retails at $4500 (KBB). If you want to stop by and look at that is fine as the pictures do not serve this bike justice that the brilliant blue actually is.  If you have questions, please ask them.  You can message me thru ebay or call me at 218-779-8837.

Now for the legal crap....I will expect a PayPal deposit within 24hrs of auction end in the amount of a $500 non-refundable deposit.  The remainder will be due when you pick up the bike in cash or bank order.  I have used U-ship to ship bikes in the past and they do a great job.  I recently had a bike shipped from ND to NC for $700, so that should give you an idea.  I will store the bike for 30 days after the auction so you can arrange pick-up.

Just for a moment; leading the British GP

Tue, 12 Jun 2012

Cal Crutchlow’s early exit at his home Moto GP last year meant we didn’t get to see his awesome potential at Silverstone. His two WSB race wins there in 2010 were pretty special as he dominated on the factory Yamaha R1, not least as he used some alternative lines and every inch of the track along the way. With his form matching the world's best in every event this year, on paper, this weekend should be his best chance so far to secure a podium or maybe even (making the dream come true!) take the first major class win in three decades.

Batman’s Original Batcycle

Thu, 11 Dec 2008

Oh, that Batman and his toys, those marvelous toys. Millionaire Bruce Wayne’s alter ego has always had a penchant for accessories. While normally reserved for freeing him and boy wonder from intellectually challenged villains, he has also had his fair share of tricked-out transportation over the years.

Andrea Dovizioso Signs with Tech 3 Yamaha for 2012

Tue, 11 Oct 2011

The Tech 3 MotoGP team has reached a one-year agreement with Andrea Dovizioso, signing the Repsol Honda factory rider to take Colin Edwards’ place on the Yamaha satellite team in the 2012 season. Dovizioso will join the Tech 3 Yamaha team after three years with the Repsol Honda team. Despite currently holding onto the third overall spot on the 2011 championship points standings with five podium appearances and 13 top-five finishes in 15 races, Dovizioso found himself the odd man out with Honda which will stick with a two-man factory team of Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa with Marco Simoncelli riding a factory-supported Honda RC212V with the Gresini team.
