Yamaha Reports Q2 2012 Results
Thu, 09 Aug 2012Yamaha has lowered its 2012 year-end sales forecast by 14.3% after reporting disappointing first half results. The Japanese manufacturer reported a profit of 14.5 billion yen (US$184.3 million), a 49.8% decrease from a profit of 29 billion yen reported in the first half of 2011. According to the company’s financial report for the quarter ended June 30, 2012, Yamaha‘s net sales totaled 632.2 billion yen (US$8.04 billion), a 4.6% decrease from net sales of 663.1 billion yen reported in the same quarter of 2011.
Yamaha Teases R25 / R3 and Tricity Reveal on March 25
Mon, 17 Mar 2014Yamaha released a new microsite teasing the launch of two models, expected to be the production versions of the YZF-R25 (or perhaps YZF-R3 for certain markets) and the Tricity leaning three-wheeled scooter. Chris Peris Joins Yamaha Champions Riding School
Mon, 24 Feb 2014The Yamaha Champions Riding School is going through some changes as it transitions to a new home at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Along with the new scenery comes a new instructor in Chris Peris. The Canadian AMA National winner has signed on and is preparing for the school’s opening class on April 21, 2014.
