Slowly turning to motorsports in the late 60's as a fun way to excape farming. In the 90's, the twincities metro over took our little farm town and turned us into a large suburb just 10 miles northwest of Minneapolis.  Proudly owned and operated by the great grandson of John Heinen!

Jorge Lorenzo posted this picture on his Twitter feed on Sunday. Yamaha's No.1 rider had to watch Sunday's MotoGP from his apartment. Despite Crutchlow reckoning Sunday's race result would have been the same even with Pedrosa and Lorenzo on the grid, I reckon Lorenzo would have had something to say about that.

After much anticipation, Yamaha has revealed its new R25 250cc sportbike at the 43rd annual Tokyo Motor Show in Japan. The manufacturer has long offered a 125cc model in India, and that’s where word surfaced of an impending 250cc model. We will have to wait a bit longer however, as the R25 at the Tokyo Motor Show is still just a prototype, meaning we should expect to see the production model for 2015.

For two months, the mechanics managed to turn the "ugly duckling" born in 1989 into a masterpiece. A new subframe and seat were made for the motorcycle, a Renthal handlebar and branded CRD controls were installed. The engine has been completely restored, the crankcase covers are sanded and varnished.
