2011 Yamaha Stryker, Strykes fear into everything else.Take advantage of the savings during the YEAR END CLEARANCE EVENT!!! This bike was part of the RIDE FIRST PROGRAM and has some demo miles on it!! Still gets full factory warranty of 12 months!! GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO SAVE$$$ The all-new Stryker by Star Motorcycles is the coolest bike to roll off the assembly line since the Raider took the industry by storm. With its raked out front end and fists in the wind riding position, this bike is pure attitude. And with fuel injection, a 1034cc V-twin, and a beautiful final belt drive, the Stryker churns out plenty of low-end torque that gets to the ground in a very satisfying way. It's time for an attitude adjustment!** Sale prcing does not include destination charges, dealer set-up/assembly,taxes,licensing, or a negotiable dealer document fee of up to $150.00 may be added to sale price.Sale pricing reflects any factory incentives available at the time of sale. Andrea Dovizioso Signs with Tech 3 Yamaha for 2012

Tue, 11 Oct 2011

The Tech 3 MotoGP team has reached a one-year agreement with Andrea Dovizioso, signing the Repsol Honda factory rider to take Colin Edwards’ place on the Yamaha satellite team in the 2012 season. Dovizioso will join the Tech 3 Yamaha team after three years with the Repsol Honda team. Despite currently holding onto the third overall spot on the 2011 championship points standings with five podium appearances and 13 top-five finishes in 15 races, Dovizioso found himself the odd man out with Honda which will stick with a two-man factory team of Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa with Marco Simoncelli riding a factory-supported Honda RC212V with the Gresini team.

Yamaha Wraps Up Sepang MotoGP Test

Thu, 02 Feb 2012

Pre-season test lap times aren’t a precise barometer for how the 2012 MotoGP Championship season will go, but Yamaha has to feel good about its results after this week’s testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit. Last February at Sepang, Honda riders were the talk of the preseason session, taking three of the top four lap times on each day of the test. That pattern repeated itself in the final championship standings with Casey Stoner taking the championship, Dani Pedrosa finishing third and Andrea Dovizioso fourth.

Lorenzo Signs Two-Year Extension with Yamaha

Thu, 07 Aug 2014

Two-time MotoGP Champion Jorge Lorenzo has signed a contract extension with Yamaha to see him race on the company’s factory team through the 2016 season. The signing comes as no real surprise, following similar two-year contract extensions for teammate Valentino Rossi and Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa. Ducati also confirmed it would field Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone next season, so unless Lorenzo wanted to spend a season or two developing Suzuki‘s or Aprilia‘s new prototypes, Lorenzo’s only option for a factory ride was to re-sign with Yamaha.
