Stock 1994 Yamaha XJ600S in excellent condition. Six speed, four cylinder. I just spent $1000.00 by Ecklund Motorsports with receipts, I had the bike gone through, I had the complete fuel system cleaned including : all four carburetors cleaned and fully rebuilt with new factory parts and synchronized, the gas tank and fuel lines cleaned, new fuel filter, new fuel pump, new battery, new spark plugs and complete oil change. There are no dents, no cracks no known issues. The paint is in great condition, tires look great, chain and sprockets are in excellent condition. This bike is 22 years old and there are a few small chips and small scratches on the fairing, Everything works on the bike. I did add yellow decal tape to the rims. There are not many of these bikes around in this condition and miles. No disappointments here. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SHIPPING COSTS. I CAN HELP ORGANIZE WITH SHIPPING. Yamaha Officially Announces Monster Energy Sponsorship
Tue, 08 Jan 2013As we reported in December, energy drink producer Monster Energy has signed a sponsorship agreement with Yamaha‘s factory MotoGP program, putting its brand on the Yamaha YZR-M1 race bikes, team clothing and equipment, as well as riders Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi. Monster Energy already had a personal sponsorship deal with Rossi but the company will now also sponsor Lorenzo. The reigning MotoGP Champion had previously had a sponsorship arrangement with rival energy drink company RockStar, but Yamaha exercised a clause in its contract with Lorenzo allowing a buy out of the RockStar deal as it conflicts with the team’s sponsor.
Official 2014 MotoGP Entry List Released
Fri, 28 Feb 2014The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released the official entry list for the 2014 MotoGP Championship including 23 riders representing 13 teams. The final entry list also lists each rider’s status as either a Open or Factory class rider. The eight Factory riders are allowed to use their teams’ own proprietary ECU software but are otherwise limited by a freeze on engine development, a limit of five engines for the whole season and just 5.3 gallons of fuel per race.
David Stanton Charity Trackday Raises $75,000
Fri, 22 Nov 2013The generosity of the motorcycling community shone brightly on Monday, as riders, fans, friends and enthusiasts took part in a charity track day at Sonoma Raceway hosted by 3J’s Motorcycle Track Days, raising $75,000. The charity track day was to benefit David Stanton, a Bay Area resident and long-time American Federation of Motorcyclists (AFM) competitor, who was paralyzed after a racing crash in June. In all, more than 400 people participated in the track day, attended the evening reception or stopped by to give Stanton their best wishes.
