No need to restore this Yamaha dual sport! It's in beautiful condition. . .always kept inside by the previous owner and myself. . .runs/drives/shifts like it should. . .6 gear transmission. . .vintage 2 stroke. . .never down; perfectly straight. Starts on 1st kick. . .everything working as it should...5400 mis showing.The bike was just serviced by a professional motorcycle mechanic (an elderly man/business owner, familiar with these old bikes), after, it had been parked for some years: carb cleaned/adusted; new gaskets; new transmission fluid; new high octane gasoline; chain adjusted/lubed; all electrical checked out (working correctly), and new tires and tubes. Title in hand. . .it's been on a Non Op status since 2001. Yamaha Reports Q2 2013 Sales Results
Tue, 06 Aug 2013Yamaha bounced back from a poor first quarter with sales of 1.530 million motorcycles over the second quarter ended June 30, 2013. The results represent a 1.5% increase from the 1.507 million motorcycles sold in the same quarter last year. Still, Yamaha’s first half motorcycle sales total of 3.0 million units remains behind last year’s tally of 3.1 million units because of the weak first quarter sales.
