Up for auction is a 1974 YAMAHA MX175A in excellent condition. Bike is in mostly stock form including straight handlebars, controls, seat cover, fenders, side panels, very clean gas tank, thermoflow shocks (no leaks w/dampening), working oil injection, pipe w/stinger and air box w/door. Parts recently replaced include front number pate assembly (copy), air box boot (copy), front brake cable (Terry), chain and OURY grips. New NOS parts include front and rear sprockets, reeds, piston kit w/ fresh bore, fork seals w/oil, dust covers and air filter. This is a low hour bike always stored inside and has straight wheels and hubs w/ good wheel bearings, new tires and tubes which replaced the stock Dunlop sport seniors, clean straight frame and perfect fork tubes and legs. Bike starts, runs, shifts strong with nice clutch action. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Spotted the link to this short film on a Dutch blog. It's beautifully shot/directed and captures GP rider Mike Duff's recovery from a horrific hip and pelvis injury suffered at the Japanese GP which cost him a six month stay in hospital. Watching him push-start makes you wince just imagining the pain he must have been in.
