Yamaha GT 80 description

I am selling my 1978 Yamaha GT 80 at NO RESERVE! This motorcycle is in excellent shape, and is 100% original except for the inner tubes. It always starts on the first kick and runs excellent. It is a four speed manual transmission. It is a smaller bike, so it would make a great kids bike, a great pit bike, or a nice addition to your collection. The bike is super clean and in excellent condition.

Below is a link to my youtube video if you would like to see and hear it run.

There is no title for the bike, not sure if it ever had one. These don't come up for sale often, especially in this shape. Don't miss out! Feel free to contact me of you have any questions, or if you would like more detailed pictures. I'm not sure why some of the pictures are sideways, but Ebay won't let me correct them. I can email pictures on request, just ask. I will sell internationally, as long as the buyer arranges the shipping. Thanks, and good luck!

This motorcycle is sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. It is the duty of the buyer to inspect the motorcycle prior to purchase. Any bidders new to Ebay, or with zero feedback will have there bids cancelled if they have not contacted me prior to bidding.

AMA Sportbike: 2012 Daytona 200 Results

Tue, 20 Mar 2012

The 2012 Daytona 200 delivered another fairy-tale finish with underdog privateer Joey Pascarella and the Project 1 Atlanta team fending off a pack of three other racers to win by a slim 0.048 second margin. Competing in just his first Daytona 200, 19-year-old Pascarella from Victorville, Calif., held the lead for 41 out of 57 laps to finish first ahead of a last year’s winner Jason DiSalvo while Cameron Beaubier squeezed by 2010 Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas in a photo-finish to take third. For the Project 1 Atlanta team, the win marked a dramatic turnaround from a let down in 2011.

Isle of Man TT 2012: Supersport TT Race 1 Results

Mon, 04 Jun 2012

Padett’s Honda racer Bruce Anstey won the first Monster Energy Supersport TT race of the 2012 Isle of Man TT by a mere 0.77 seconds over rider Cameron Donald. The race could have been even closer if Gary Johnson, another Honda rider, hadn’t run out of gas on the final lap. Before he ran out of fuel, Johnson was in the mix with Anstey and Donald with just 0.62 seconds separating the three riders.

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?

Mon, 28 Feb 2011

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
