2004 Yamaha Fz1 , I have a 2004 Yamaha fz 1 that I would either like to sell or trade for a smaller bike. Bike runs great has light damage on the right side from previous owner.. I like the Honda CBR 250 s or ninja 250 with the new body style that they changed to in 2008.. I can be reached by phone at 318-419-9720. I travel for work but I can transport the bike to be seen. Recall for 2006-2009 Yamaha FJR1300
Mon, 04 Jul 2011Yamaha is recalling certain 2006-2009 FJR1300 sport-tourers due to a problem with the electrical system. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the ground joint connector of the wire harness on some Yamaha FJR1300 models may overheat and become deformed. If the electrical system is not properly grounded, the motorcycle’s electric components including the ignition system may malfunction, potentially causing the engine to stall.
Yamaha and Star Riding Assc. Set For 5th Annual Feed the Children Food Drop
Fri, 18 Nov 2011Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A., along with the Star Touring and Riding association, join forces for the fifth year to support the charitable organization Feed the Children in a food drop to benefit needy Orange County, Calif., residents. The event takes place today, Friday, November, 18th. More from Yamaha on the food drop: Each year, Yamaha’s employees donate monies on a monthly basis for “Feed The Children blue jean Friday” which raises enough each year to support a tractor trailer semi truck loaded with food and hygiene products for local Orange County residents in need.
