Yamaha DT360 description

Up for bid is this nice Yamaha Enduro motorcycle. It is a DT360. These are great bikes to have due to the ability to operate on the roads and on the trail. Get tired of the boring highway ride? Just turn from the paved path on to dirt trails with no worries. This bike can handle it! As you can see from the pictures it is in pretty good condition considering it is 42 years old. It has its share of scratches, dings and dents but overall still in pretty good shape. It has been sitting the last 2 years and now will not kick over. I would imagine some mystery oil in the plug hole and a few days to soak might loosen it up. I can't guarantee that though. It did run when put away last. That much I do know. Anyhow, I also removed the master link in the chain to make it easier to move around the garage. The tank has a few dents and the chrome has some light rust in the corners but nothing major at all (Please look at pictures). The tires are older but still look to have quite a bit of tread left on them. The seat is really nice with no holes or tears. The speedometer glass has been broken out and will need to be fixed. The glass is pretty cheap to replace. Exhaust does not have any holes in it that I can see. With a little work this can be a nice rider again. I have a clean title and one key for it. I will not ship the bike. It will need to be picked up in Findlay, Ohio. If the new owner would like to have it shipped they will be responsible for ALL arrangements. I will only agree to meet the driver to open the door. A $200.00 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will need to be made to my paypal account within 24 hours of the close of auction. The remainder of the balance will be in cash upon pick-up of the bike.
These Enduro 2 stroke bikes are just a blast to own and getting harder and harder to find. Don't miss your chance at one!!!

And it's goodbye from him

Tue, 17 Aug 2010

THIS IS Valentino Rossi's farewell letter to his Fiat Yamaha team following the announcement the flambouyant Italian is to head to Ducati MotoGP in 2011.The hand-written letter, mistakes and all, is written in almost a 'my first romance' kinda way. It's touching, if a little bizarre. Some of the letter reads:“Unfortunately even the most beautiful love stories finish, but they leave a lot of wonderful memories, like when my M1 and I kissed for the first time on the grass at Welkom, when she looked straight in my eyes and told me ‘I love you!'"Somehow, we can't see Casey Stoner gushing quite as freely when he leaves Ducati for Repsol Honda.
