Up for sale is a 1972 Yamaha DT250 Motorcycle. Clear Title. 5,479 original miles. Built in 3/72. All original. Frame # DT1F-128805. Engine # DT1F-28805. It does not run, has been sitting since the late 1980s. Motor turns over with tons of compression. Has spark. Front and rear brakes work as they should .Shifts through the gears. Bike is complete. Gas tank is solid. Inside is clean with no rust. Chrome has little to no pitting. Everything is solid, no holes. Paint is super nice, only one tiny ding on left side of tank. Tires are original, show some dry rot. With a carburetor cleaning and battery would make a nice running vintage 1972 DT250 Yamaha motorcycle.  Please see all pictures before bidding. Valentino Rossi is back on the podium. Not a MotoGP podium, mind, but for a rally car race at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza in Italy. (Post updated with video.) Driving a Ford Fiesta RS with co-driver Carlo Cassina, Rossi won two of nine stages and finished second overall to eight-time World Rally Car Champion Sebastien Loeb at the 2011 Monza Rally Show.

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. Yamaha’s Dennis McNeal Named Chair of Motorcycle Industry Council

The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) has named Dennis McNeal as the new chair of its board of directors. McNeal, the vice president of motorcycle operations for Yamaha Motor Corp. U.S.A., will take over the chairman position from Mark Blackwell, the retiring vice president of Polaris Industries.
