Yamaha 305 scrambler description

This is a beautiful Yamaha 305 Scrambler. Much more rare than the Yamaha Big Bear Scrambler 250 (YDS3-C). This bike is in excellent overall condition. It has recently gone through a nut and bolt restoration. The top of the engine was recently rebuilt with new NOS parts including rods, bearings, pistons, etc.by Will Powell of Cyclerestorer. The bore went back .25 over. All new rubber, cables, etc. The paint is professional show quality, deep black. All chrome replated triple chrome. Good tires, tubes and rims. Seat is supple, no rips tears or marks.

The bike starts right up idles smoothly no funny noises. Clutch and transmission work as it should. All electrical working properly. There is a slight weeping from the petcock when fuel is selected on, may correct itself as the rubber gasket swells or need a new tension washer.

Clear title in my name.
I believe the Buy It Now price to be very fair, reflecting the outstanding condition and rarity of the bike. How many Honda CL305's are currently listed on E-Bay?
There are no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Please read the payment and shipping information below.

I will answer all questions as soon as possible. Thank you for looking, Mike

2014 AMA Supercross – Oakland Results

Mon, 27 Jan 2014

With three different racers tasting victory in the first three rounds of the 2014 AMA Supercross Championship, the season was shaping up to be one of the deepest and most competitive fields we’ve seen. But at Round Four at O.o Coliseum in Oakland, Calif., Ryan Villopoto showed why he remains the top dog, leading each lap for his second win of the season. The Kawasaki rider only trailed at the very start of the race, as Honda rider Vince Friese took the holeshot with Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton slotting in second through the first corner.

GSX-R600 and CBR250R the glass is half full

Wed, 13 Oct 2010

Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong.  As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.

Yamaha Teams Going Retro For Anaheim 2

Thu, 16 Jan 2014

In preparation for Anaheim 2, round 3 of the AMA Supercross championship, a few Yamaha teams are embracing the past for team colors. The CycleTrader.com Rock River Yamaha team is going back to Yamaha’s corporate roots with a White and Red themed look that could be found on YZs in the latter half of the 1980s and into the 90s. This color scheme also graced the prototype YZ400F Doug Henry rode into the history books with his win at the 1997 Las Vegas Supercross.
