Rare original Amal long arm 64-156 float bowl with bottom feed type float chamber with float and short arm, overall it seems to be in very good original condition and complete with float and all internal parts. 0 degree angle, As fitted to many 1930's thru 1960's road and high performance and road going 276 carburetors, competition and racing machines from Norton, Matchless, Royal Enfield, BSA, Triumph, Ajs, Vincent and many other period racing motorcycles. All in all very nice original condition . measures approx - 4.5 inches tall x 2. inches diameter. Built For Speed Art Exhibit To Be Displayed At Sturgis Buffalo Chip
Wed, 23 Jul 2014“Built for Speed – Race Inspired Motorcycles and Art” is the title of Michael Lichter’s 14th annual “Motorcycles as Art” exhibition in Sturgis this August, which for the second year in a row, will be jointly curated by Michael and Paul d’Orleans of the Vintagent. ‘Built for Speed’ is sure to impress visitors with a beautiful and thought-provoking display of motorcycles and related art, the race-inspired theme making connections between motorcycle racing and custom bike designs inspired by racers. Each custom bike in ‘Built for Speed’ reflects a branch of racing; Speedway, Flat Track, Drag Racing, Board Track, Grand Prix, Land Speed Record, and will be displayed beside the racing machines suggesting the origins of each style.

Wed, 27 Apr 2011The MotoGP circus moves into it's tenth appearance at the Estoril circuit, with the Portugease circuit playing host to a Grand Prix event in each of the previous nine years since the introduction of the four-stroke MotoGP formula at in 2002. Below is a reminder of the highlights of the previous nine MotoGP races held at Estoril: 2002 – Having won the last 500cc GP race at Estoril in 2001, Valentino Rossi (Honda) won the first of the MotoGP races held at the circuit. This was a race that was run in very wet conditions and Sete Gibernau had led for most of the race only to crash out with four laps to go.
2013 Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance World Championship Results
Mon, 29 Jul 2013The Musashi HARC-Pro Honda team of Leon Haslam, Michael van der Mark and Takumi Takahashi captured the 2013 Suzuka 8 Hours race. The Musashi team was joined on the podium by the Yoshimura Suzuki team of Takuya Tsuda, Nobuatsu Aoki and Josh Brookes and the Kagayama Suzuki team of Yukio Kagayama, Noriyuki Haga and Kevin Schwantz. The Musashi team completed 214 laps to win the endurance race.
