Victory Vegas Jackpot description

2008 Victory Vegas Jackpot

VIN 5VPXB26DX83004308

This is a great bike! It has all of the power/speed it looks like it should but handles like a dream; in town and highway.
I'm selling her simply because I have no time to ride anymore. You can find my HD 1200 XLC on ebay as well...
The bike is well kept and garaged each day/night. She is really an awesome ride; you'll never ride anything else.

Extras
- Swept pipes are the last of their kind for this bike.
- A big shot II is under the hood
- Ness pegs
- Victory Windshield
- Sissy from Victory Only (300.00 plus)
- La Rossa Fork bag
- Rear LED light (not installed and in box still which removes the rear lights making it a single solid fender light)
- Curved Plate (not mounted due to laws in CT where I live)

* Note she does have normal wear from riding and the pipes have a scratch (minor no rust).

Riders Review

The queen of the Vegas lineup is aptly named. Jackpot is exactly what potential buyers think they have found when seeing this motorcycle for the first time in a Victory showroom.

The Vegas Jackpot is a custom cruiser offering the same quality and reliability as a production bike. The American brand made no compromises when designing this magnificent beast.

Stylish steed
The 250-millimeter rear tire and long-stretching front fork give the Jackpot a striking look. The custom paint, one-piece leather seat and one-tone frame leave no one indifferent. Hands down, the Jackpot wins the styling award over every other model from this custom bike specialist.

As comfortable as one could wish
While the Vegas Jackpot is first and foremost about style (engineers sacrificed one inch of travel in favor of a low-profile look), the comfort level is surprising. In fact, it's just as comfortable as the regular Vegas thanks to clever shock and spring settings. Throughout my road test, the suspension never bottomed out, even on some of the bumpiest roads you will ever find. True, the Jackpot is not particularly sharp and precise when entering corners due to the considerable width difference between the front and rear tire, but the frame is extremely well designed and somewhat makes up for it. Consequently, rider safety is not affected.

Victory has become a master at designing excellent seats and the Vegas Jackpot is no exception. The shape and padding are exemplary, which is great for long-distance rides. Ergonomics are another strength of this bike. The controls are conveniently laid out and easy to manipulate. There's plenty of room for the rider and, incidentally, the riding position is one of the segment's best.

Just Finishing is a Victory: Filming the Ironman Triathlon [Video]

Tue, 27 Dec 2011

A 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bicycle ride and a 26.2-mile run. That is what defines the Ironman Trianthlon, one of the most physically grueling competitions in the world, a race so harsh, the sport’s mantra is “Just Finishing is a Victory.” Victory Motorcycles has released a video showing a different side of the famous Ironman World Championship at Kona, Hawaii, taken from the perspective of the motorcycle-riding camera operators which film the  annual race. Victory sponsored some of the camera teams that filmed this year’s race for outlets such as NBC television and the 12-minute video shows some of the work that goes into this subset of motorcycle riding.

Ryan Villopoto returned to the top of the podium and extended his lead in the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship to 13 points with a victory at the Edwards Jones Dome in St. Louis, Mo. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider had his win streak snapped at three after losing to Red Bull KTM‘s Ryan Dungey last week in Atlanta, Ga., but Villopoto returned to form in St.

Photos Of This Weekend’s Denver Endurocross Track

Fri, 03 Oct 2014

This weekend the EnduroCross championship makes its way to Denver and the National Events Center for the fifth round of the nine-round series. Truckloads of dirt, mountains of rock and piles of logs are coming together to create an EnduroCross course that’s sure to challenge racers and entertain fans.  Excitement will be a mile-high this weekend as the EnduroCross Championship puts three different race winners into an epic battle for valuable points before the halfway point in the series. Beta/GEICO-backed Cody Webb has led since his first round victory in Las Vegas, but KTM’s five-time champion Taddy Blazusiak is hot on his heels after a big win at the last round in Atlanta and at X-Games. And don’t count out Colton Haaker.
