Isle of Man TT 2014: Monster Supersport TT 1 Results

Gary Johnson narrowly beat out Bruce Anstey to take the first of two Supersport races at the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Riding the Daytona 675, Johnson’s win was the first for Triumph since 2003, ironically, with Anstey taking the victory that year in the Junior 600cc class. The race started three hours behind schedule due to fog, but once it began it quickly became a duel between Johnson and Anstey.

A notice to any potential law breakers out there: Victory is getting in on the police bike business. Using stock Cross Country models modified with only lights and sirens, the Victorys may not be as ill-equipped for chases (at least slow speed, parking lot chases) as you might think. Victory Reveals 15th Anniversary Cross Country Tour

Victory Motorcycles is celebrating the company’s 15th anniversary with a special limited edition Cross Country Tour. Unveiled at the New York City stop of the International Motorcycle Shows tour, the 15th Anniversary Cross Country Tour Limited Edition comes in an Antares red over Gloss Black paint scheme, just like the original 1998 V92C that was the first motorcycle to roll off the line at Victory’s factory in Spirit Lake, Iowa. The 15th Anniversary model also features a custom seat, billet wheels, chrome details, removeable saddlebag and trunk liners, a Garmin GPS navigation system, XM satellite radio, Kicker speakers, black windscreen and an iPhone/iPod connector.
