Summer is here and it's time to feel the freedom of the road on this like new beautiful 865cc Triumph Thruxton with only 1400 miles on it. This amazing bike is styled like the old cafe racers of the '60s. The motorcycle is painted silver with a red racing stripe down the middle of the gas tank and rear seat cover and looks stunning as it glides down the road or freeway. The motorcycle has low miles due to the fact that I've been deployed for my job to Afghanistan as well as other locations and I can no longer enjoy it. A recent tune up has taken care of any issues that storing it in my parents' garage may have had. The motorcycle is located in Lehi, Utah and can be shown by my father. Intermot 2012: 2013 Triumph Street Triple, Street Triple R Revealed
Tue, 02 Oct 2012Triumph has redesigned its Street Triple for 2013, revealing the updated 675cc naked bikes at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany. 2013 Triumph Street Triple and the slightly more up-spec Street Triple R receive an all-new chassis featuring aluminum beam twin-spar frames and two-piece die-cast rear subframes. According to Triumph, the new chassis optimizes agility and handling with fewer welds than the previous frame and helping reduce the overall wet weight by 13 pounds to 403 pounds.

A thing of beauty?
Mon, 29 Mar 2010The weather was pretty good over the weekend and I managed to get 500 miles in and become better acquainted with the Speed Triple. I’m still running it in but as it’s reputation suggest the bike doesn’t disappoint. There are some noticeable differences over most other naked bikes I’ve ridden, you could call them quirks, but i'll talk about those in a week or so.
