THIS AUCTION IS FOR A VERY NICE TRIUMPH SPEEDMASTER MOTOR CYCLE IT IS IN VERY GOOD RUNNING CONDITION AND IS A VERY SMOOTH COMFORTABLE RIDING BIKE IT HAS FORWARD CONTROLS, TACH, AND VERY NICE BLACK LEATHER SADDLE BAGS. IT JUST HAD A TUNE UP NOT THAT LONG AGO AND ALSO JUST HAD A FRESH OIL CHANGE TIRES ARE ALSO IN GOOD SHAPE I REALLY HATE TO SELL THIS BIKE BUT I HAVE OTHER PROJECTS TO GET FINISHED I HAVE OWNED THIS BIKE FOR FOUR YEARS IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN GARAGED AND WELL CARED FOR. IT HAS EVEN WON A FEW TROPHIES AT SOME LOCAL CAR & BIKE SHOWS. IT TOOK FIRST IN FAYETTE IN 2010 SECOND IN CRESCO IOWA IN 2010 AND SECOND IN MCGREGOR IOWA'S SHOW IN 2011. IT SURE HAS THE RIGHT LOOKS TO IT AND ATTRACTS A LOT OF ATTENTION THE ONLY COSMETIC THING WRONG WITH IT IS IT HAS A SMALL DING IN THE TANK IT WAS THERE WHEN I BOUGHT IT AND IS NOT REALLY NOTICEABLE AND COULD BE REMOVED BY PAINTLESS DENT REMOVAL. 2013 LA Calendar Motorcycle Show Report
Mon, 22 Jul 2013The 22nd edition of the annual LA Calendar Motorcycle Show marked its return to the Queen Mary Seawalk Village in Long Beach, California with hometown boy Sam Baldi taking the Bike Building Championship’s Best of Show trophy with a Jimmy Todorovith/Profile Cycles built Big Twin custom named “Lost Angel.” This year’s Calendar Show showcased not only top builders but selected vendors and exhibitors, and of course the Calendar Girl Music live performances. And as always, this year’s show celebrated the world premiere of the 2014 FastDates.com Motorcycle PinUp Calendars, featuring the world’s top SBK World Superbikes, sport and cafe bikes, and custom motorcycles with the beautiful Calendar Kittens. On hand throughout the day to meet with fans and pose for pictures were Calendar Kittens Apple Price, together with official SBK World Superbike grid girls Jessica Harbour and singer/songwriter Sarah Horvath.
Triumph Sets Sales Record but Suffers First Operating Loss Since 2009
Thu, 12 Dec 2013Triumph sold 52,089 motorcycles from its fiscal year ended June 30, 2013, setting a new company record for annual sales. At the same time, the company announced an operating loss of £95,000 (US$155,300), the company’s time in the red since 2009. Much of the operating loss was caused by foreign currency exchanges and the cost of starting up manufacturing facilities in Brazil and India.
Another bikes vs. car drift battle
Fri, 13 Jan 2012Icon have just released a sequel to last year's popular drift video that featured Nick Brocha on a stretched ZX10 racing alongside a Corvette-Powered RX7. Upping the stakes this time, Brocha is joined by Ernie Vigil, both onboard Triumph Speed Triples that have been built for the sole purpose of moving forward, but sideways. Taking up the rear is a supercharged 550hp Ford Mustang Cobra, quite apt really seeing how the film ends. Like the recent Jorian Ponomareff 'Drift Gymkhana', its great to see another video that does justice to the talent on show.
