2007 Triumph Daytona 675, Tornado red Daytona 675. Bone stock with factory TOR exhaust. New D.I.D. gold chain, Shrink Raven tires with 80% life (never had issues with these tires. 3rd set used with no sticking issues). New brake fluid. Bike was toppled over by previous owner at a stand still. Only scratched the edge of mirrors. Fairings in excellent condition. 6000k h.I.d.s. for hi and low beams. *removable* black out for headlights. New gel bike master gel battery and upgraded rectifier with MOSFET design. Bad stitching for passenger seat came undone. Will try to fix before sale. This bike is amazing, but other priorities come first. Price is $6500 OBO. Speed Triple gets new boots
Tue, 18 May 2010Since the spark plug incident last month resulting in the premature demise of the factory fitted Metzlers, I’ve had to find some new rubber for the Speed Triple. With the Triumph’s punchy engine Commuting 1800 miles a month on motorways and city roads, I need something that will cover decent miles but also be up for some frequent country lane antics. With the BT023’s Bridgestone claim longer life with solid wet weather performance for touring riders whilst satisfying the demands of the keen sport bike riders.
Rockerbox Motofest Moves To Road America
Fri, 14 Feb 2014Wisconsin’s premier motorcycle show, The Rockerbox Motofest, featuring an eclectic mix of Euro, Japanese and American vintage café racers, choppers, sport bikes, racing machines, super motos, scooters, and sidecars is making an official move for the future. Instead of its usual Milwaukee home, the event is making the trek 60 miles north to America’s national park of speed as part of Road America’s American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) Vintage Motorcycle Classic, June 6-8. The Rockerbox Motofest includes a ride-in bike show and competition showcasing the greatest in classic style, fresh customization, plus all that is unusual and incredible.

Mon, 14 Jun 2010Around this time every summer the BMF hold the Garden Of England Motorcycle Show otherwise known as GEMS. The show happens to be round the corner from me so event sponsors MCE Insurance kindly sent me some passes so I could have a look around. Apart from the usual trade stands and crazy arena antics one of the highlights was the national lawn mower racing championship.
