Triumph Bonneville description

2010 Triumph Bonneville T100, Rare! - BONNEVILLE T100 Classic styling. Re-engineered for a new century. Timeless 60s styling. Twenty-first century engineering. One hundred percent Bonneville. The classic Triumph. Parallel-twin, spoked-wheels and lashings of quality chrome. The T100 is our modern interpretation of the classic Bonnevilles that ruled the roost back in the 1960s. Twin pea-shooter exhausts, two-tone paint and that Triumph embossed seat say classic British motorcycle’ but while the T100 may look like its come straight out of the day’, the technology and ride experience most definitely do not. The 865 cubic-centimeter engine, an air-cooled parallel twin of course, is fitted with up-to-date fuel injection for clean and efficient riding. Plus, the suspension and brakes are bang up-to-date too. You won’t have to sacrifice today’s technology to satisfy your taste for classic, vintage design. Riding the way it was in the hay day. Performance the way it is today.

Castrol Rocket, Gyronaut X-1 and Jason DiSalvo at New York IMS

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

Two Triumph land speed bikes, the Gyronaut X-1 and the Castrol Rocket, will be on display at the New York Progressive International Motorcycle Show this weekend. Jason DiSalvo, pilot of the Castrol Rocket and winner of the 2011 Daytona 200 will also be in attendance to meet fans and talk about the project. The Gyronaut X-1 is the last Triumph motorcycle to hold the ultimate motorcycle land speed record. The X-1 first set the motorcycle land speed record in 1965 at 212.689mph, while its 1966 record at 245.667mph stood until 1970.

Zard: a must have for Scrambler fans

Tue, 10 Nov 2009

ZARD EXHAUSTS have unveiled a tasty, white, full-length system to fit the latest Triumph Scrambler, at this year's Milan Motorcycle Show. Prices, spec and availability have yet to be announced but we think the system really brightens up the Scrambler's appearance. It's also a great improvement over the standard Triumph drain-pipe job.

Steve McQueen Inspired Motorcycle

Tue, 10 Nov 2009

British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph and Swiss watch manufacturer TAG Heuer have collaborated to create a special, one-of-a-kind “Bonneville Heuer” Triumph motorcycle. The association between Triumph and TAG Heuer comes as a result of their common values and the legacy of Steve McQueen, who was famously linked to both brands. The TAG Heuer Bonneville features a unique blue and orange paint scheme that was inspired by the Porsche sports car driven by Steve McQueen’s character in the movie Le Mans (1971).
