Triumph Bonneville tech info
Triumph Bonneville description
Thank you for taking a look at my motorcycle. You are obviously a person of good taste and class. I am the original owner of this motorcycle, took very good care of it, and used it as my primary form of transportation for a few years. I am a modern Triumph motorcycle mechanic going on 10 years now.
I would also like to point out that 2009 is the only year available to the U.S. market that Triumph made the Bonneville with EFI and a analog odometer, and this is a 2010. This could be worth a little more later on down the road. Here's the rundown on the bike: New tires New chain New nitrogen charged "piggyback" rear shocks (less than 50 miles on all the above) Saddlebags Progressive front fork springs EBC HH brake pads Air box deleted Triumph Performance USA mufflers Headlight guard Custom taillight Custom fenders Custom gas cap Triumph Twin Power EFI tune, direct to the ECU (no power commander, no hacking into the harness) Relocated ignition switch "M" Bars with jade grips Hand-made key fob made from a .303 British shell case You have 3K miles until you have to do the 12k mileage service. This bike won a best in show at a local bike show a few years back, and won runner up for best custom the year following. I have NEVER swapped the speedometer or disconnected the cable to create a lower mileage bike. Being in this industry, this happens a lot. |

Freedom Friday Photo Contest
Fri, 12 Apr 2013Freedom Friday is a call-to-action on the AMA’s Facebook page each Friday to alert motorcyclists about issues posing threats to motorcycling freedoms. Riders can partake in a weekly contest related to these issues and win prizes. Each week’s Freedom Friday photo contest asks AMA members to send a photo of themselves, preferably with their bike, near a symbol of the current topic. The issue that kicks off today is access discrimination, which can be illustrated with a photo of a “No Motorcycles Allowed” sign, “Wilderness” sign or anything related to freedom to illustrate their concern as a motorcyclist.
Triumph Releases Third Adventure Bike Teaser Video
Fri, 03 Sep 2010Triumph has released the third in a series of videos teasing its two upcoming adventure motorcycles, this one describing the bikes’ new chassis. We know from the first two installments that Triumph is developing two models, one focused for on-road riding, the other for off-road, and both models will use a mid-sized long-stroke three-cylinder engine. The third part tells us the two models will use a steel frame and feature an upright riding geometry.
