2001 Triumph Bonneville 790cc. 10,044 miles. Clear title (California). Registration paid through February 10, 2017. Included: Black leather panniers kit ($400 value; assembly required), Haynes Service & Repair book ($65 value), and owner's manual. This has been a fun bike. Selling because wife and I will be retiring and are starting process of downsizing. It's time to clear out my garage "toys". This "new"Bonneville, reintroduced by the new Triumph company in November 2000, shares the name, engine configuration and style of the "old" Bonneville T120 and T140, but that is about all it shares. The new Bonneville maintains the styling and character of the popular old models but infuses the bike with modern technology including a 790cc parallel twin air and oil-cooled engine. A 360-degree crank means the pistons rise and fell simultaneously, but are set to fire on alternate strokes. Twin balancer shafts run off a gear on the right-hand end of the crankshaft to eliminate most of the vibration, while leaving enough to provide essential character. A central cam chain drives the double overhead camshafts actuating four valves per cylinder.
