This bike is a beast, obviously is not a Gsxr but its no Katanna either. the SV 650 line was changed to its current name Gladius. its a street fighter style bike and is a great bike for the person looking to step up from a 250 or beginner. in no way am I implying this bike should be taken lightly, it has plenty of stock power, and if thats not enogh, I've put an after market exhaust (sounds amazing) put a power commander on (professionaly installed ) and removed the rev limiter. all to enhance the power and sound. I also had the bike custom painted Matte Black, led signals and undertail. bar end mirrors and custom brake and clutch levers. bike is listed locally and I get plenty of interest, but mainly tire kickers or dreamers. 2013 AMA Daytona 200 Race Report
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Cameron Beaubier led a parade of Yamaha YZF-R6 racebikes to win the 72nd running of the famed Daytona 200. The Yamaha Extended Service Graves Yamaha rider started from pole position and led for 50 of 57 laps before winning by a 22.254-second margin. Behind Beaubier were four other R6 riders including his teammate Garret Gerloff who finished second.
