Suzuki SV description
Suzuki SV650/SV650S Bike
Description: A
645cc, DOHC, 90-degree V-Twin that made 71.7 hp at 9250 rpm and 46.2 ft.-lb. of
torque at 7250, good enough to propel this 426-lb. (with its 4.4-gal. tank
filled to the brim) roadster to an 11.93-sec., 111-mph quarter-mile and a top
speed of 129 mph. The Suzuki SV650's liquid-cooled DOHC unit is so smooth
and eager it makes most European V-twins seem crude and impotent. The Suzuki SV650 is flexible and predictable,
has a thrilling zest for revs and yet is completely reliable, too. What’s more,
the gear change is typically Suzuki slick and the clutch is light and easy. The
SV650 has an all-round great engine. The
bike is described to the best of my ability. If you have any questions please
ask before bidding.

Looking after number 1
Fri, 06 Jan 2012There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.
