1980 Suzuki SP400 (400cc) 4-stroke dirt bike. Runs good, very powerful. Unknown mileage since no speedometer. I do not have any title since I bought this from my friend 15 years ago, rode it a few times, and stored it at my parent's house since (gas was drained). Buyer to pay cash upon pick up after looking at bike and seeing it run. Buyer needs to pick up in Quaker Street, NY 12141, preferably on August 27th or 28th (my brother and dad will be home then). US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.

2014 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 Concept
Thu, 11 Jul 2013Suzuki is currently testing prototype versions of the 2014 V-Strom 1000 first teased during the Intermot Expo in Germany last year. The company also has a dedicated V-Strom 1000 website centered around the concept, its inception, design challenges, and what Suzuki hopes to achieve with the new model. Judging by the photos, the new Strom will retain the same 996cc V-Twin engine first seen on the original Strom 1000 11 years ago.
