Suzuki Other description

Up for sale is my 2008 Suzuki DL650 VStrom in excellent condition.  Bike has very low mileage at 5,532 and has been well taken care of.  It is adult ridden and never been dropped.  There are some minor scuff marks on the fuel tank from a magnetic tank bag, and also some minor rust on the center stand that can be sanded and painted.  It has been serviced yearly before riding season with AMS oil and filter.  Garage kept and very clean.  It is all stock but comes with an additional C. Bailey's tall windshield for highway riding.  Rides and runs very smoothly and makes commuting comfortable and affordable with its great fuel economy.  I own the bike and have a clean title.

Please call Josh at 903-618-9152 with any questions or message and I'll get back to you asap.

Cresent Suzuki Team Entering WSBK; Several Other Shoes Still to Drop

Fri, 21 Oct 2011

British Superbike racing team Crescent Suzuki announced it will enter the World Superbike Championship next year, but Suzuki racing fans are perhaps left with even more questions about the 2012 racing season. Crescent Suzuki will enter two riders on GSX-R1000 superbikes next season, but the team has not named its riders or described the level of support it will receive from Suzuki. This season, Crescent Suzuki fielded John Hopkins and Jon Kirkham with Hopkins falling short of winning the championship thanks to a photo finish on the season’s final race.

‘Rides like a dream’

Fri, 07 Mar 2014

Although aftermarket grips and LED strips are both listed on the ad for this poor Suzuki, there’s no mention of the single disc conversion at the front of the bike. It’s a good job the seller is in no rush to sell. Surely this is the worst looking SV650 ever? You can see the original ad here.

Looking after number 1

Fri, 06 Jan 2012

There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.
