1974 Suzuki TM400, frame #TM400 38319.  Item being SOLD AS IS.  Dirt bikes have no title, none available.  Mileage not available on a dirt bike.

 

New tires, plastic, graphics, bars, levers, seat cover, and unifilter.  Has Koni shocks, good clutch and brakes.  Small dent in tank also rust inside.  Will need dust boots.  Small piece broken off exhaust mount tab 3/4".  Also have stock airbox, missing the cover.  New tank graphics also.  Ran when I took it as a trade a year ago.  No time to play.  Great winter project.

Josh Hayes and Blake Young picked things up where they left off by trading wins at the 2012 season-opening AMA Superbike round at Daytona International Speedway. Reigning champion Hayes of Monster Energy Graves Yamaha took the first race handily, leading almost right from the start of the 15-lap race for the win. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Young, who finished second to Hayes in the 2011 AMA Superbike Championship, responded by taking the second race, but only by a slim 0.002-second margin.

A new patent image reveals something new about the serialization of the Recursion concept. As we already know, the Hamamatsu company is preparing a commercial version of the Recursion show bike and its main feature will be a 700cc turbocharged inline two-cylinder engine, which is distinguished by powerful traction in a wide rev range. But on the way to the assembly line, the device will noticeably change, as hinted at by patent images.

Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.
