Suzuki Intruder description

2004 Suzuki Intruder 1400 (VS1400GLP), FULLY SERVICED AND READY FOR THE ROAD!!! - Once upon a time, cruisers made you choose between style and performance. Then the Intruder 1400 burst upon the scene. Finally, style and performance were melded together in a radical machine that offered a stunning combination of classic American cruiser styling and heart-pounding performance. Let your eyes wander over their striking good looks. Check out its V-twin engine with blacked-out treatment and polished fins. Aggressively raked forks and high-quality chrome. Custom seat and deep marble-flake paint. And their classic 60-spoke wheel with polished aluminum rims. The Intruder is a rolling, kinetically charged work of art. But if its the look that catches your eye, its the performance that will keep you coming back for more. It cranks out a huge amount of torque across a wide powerband. Roll on the throttle and it will practically leap forward in a rush of acceleration. And heres the real kicker: The Intruder 1400 offers something that was never associated with big V-twins exceptional long-term reliability. When you want to get out for a long afternoons ride or a long weekend on the open highway you’ll appreciate their spacious riding position and superb ergonomics. Whats more, both bikes have advanced suspension that offers exceptional responsiveness and a plush ride. And a wealth of technological designs rubber engine mounts, staggered crankpins and shaft drive provide smooth operation and outstanding comfort for the long haul.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.

2014 AMA Supercross – Arlington Results

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

James Stewart‘s hot streak continues with his second-consecutive win and fourth AMA Supercross podium in five weeks after an impressive effort at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fresh off of signing a contract extension with Yoshimura Suzuki, Stewart took control of the Arlington main event on the third lap, passing holeshot-taker Ryan Dungey and running away with the win. With his win last week at San Diego, Stewart becomes the first rider to win back-to-back races this season and establishes himself as a championship contender as we approach the mid-way point of the 2014 season.

2013 Jordan Suzuki Livery Inspired by Air Jordan XX8 Sneakers

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

Michael Jordan Motorsports revealed its racing livery for its 2013 AMA Superbike Championship Suzuki GSX-R1000 racebikes. The 2013 racebikes will sport a wavy blue camo pattern inspired by the new Nike Air Jordan XX8 sneaker. The team unveiled the new livery on the Skydeck on the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower (formerly known as the Sears Tower) in Chicago, where the team was founded and, more notably, where team owner Michael Jordan won six NBA championships with the Bulls.
