Suzuki Intruder description

2000 Suzuki Intruder LC, VL1500cc V-Twin Cruiser

Purchased New (One Owner): Nov 2000

For Sale is a beautiful Suzuki Intruder, VL1500 V-Twin Cruiser with 57,700 miles. One owner, I bought it new in November 2000.  Color is a dark British Racing Green Metallic with metallic dark blue highlight accents.  Today, the bike is a single-seater. It is very well maintained and includes several add-ons such as: tinted Rifle windshield, rear Hyperlight brake lights, Halogen bright blue headlight and driving lights, Progressive front springs, Ohlins rear shock, new clutch plates, Vance and Hines 2 into 1 exhaust, rejetted carburetors, K&N air filter, tachometer, handlebar risers, heavy duty wired alternator, cup holder.  I still have the hard saddle bags (painted to match), rear seat, sissy bar and tail rack, front shield lowers, highway pegs, crash bars, trailer hitch, full cover with bag and all the original parts that I upgraded.

1500cc V-Twin sounds great and with the upgrades, pulls strong. The engine is coupled to a five-speed gearbox with power sent to the rear wheel through a shaft final drive.

2014 WSBK – Donington Results

Mon, 26 May 2014

Tom Sykes and Loris Baz captured a pair of one-two finishes for Kawasaki at England’s Donington Park. The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli. Race One #493744055 / gettyimages.com Normally a strong starter, Sykes had a nearly disastrous beginning in Race One, while up front, Suzuki‘s Alex Lowes battled with Guintoli and Baz.

MotoGP should return to Suzuka

Thu, 14 Jul 2011

Suzuka was always one of the great circuits; unfortunately the Japanese track was dropped following the tragic death of Daijiro Kato in 2003 as the course was deemed too tight and dangerous for the rapid four-strokes. Owned by Honda, Suzuka is a magical place combining arching S-bends from the start of the lap, high-speed in the middle and finished off with the technical and oft racing deciding final chicane, the location of many fantastic last lap battles. However the death of Kato, and Honda’s major hope of a Japanese champion, placed a dark cloud over the 5.807 kilometres of tarmac.

Yoshimura GSX1250FA EEC Approved Slip-On End-Can

Tue, 16 Feb 2010

JAPANESE TUNING house Yoshimura has released a series of EEC-approved Slip-On exhausts suitable for the Suzuki Bandit GSF1250SA and the new fully-faired Suzuki GSX1250FA.At over 3kgs lighter than the OE Suzuki item, each Yoshimura Slip-On comes with the pipe work to mount to the standard front section plus all parts (including muffler clamp) required for installation. The EEC-approved silencer features two dB-killer baffles, one in the link pipe, one in the can and when both are removed power and torque are increased over stock, claim Yoshimura. With full EEC silencing both torque and power curves are identical to the standard output, but a dB-Killer in the link-pipe when used with an open exhaust gives solid gains, the company say.Part Number/Sleeve Type/Weight/RRP including VAT1A0-177-5L50 (Stainless Steel)    3.4kg  £597.751A0-177-5L80 (Titanium)              3.2kg  £666.731A0-177-5L81B (Titan Blue)*       3.2kg  £747.191A0-177-5L20 (Metal Magic)        3.4kg  £689.72For more information on this or any other Yoshimura product contact 01782 569800 or visit www.phoenixnw.co.uk to find your nearest dealer.
