Suzuki GS description

This bike is really in great shape !!! It was stored for 15 years and then brought to me to get running. I work on Harley's so I wasn't that enthused to work on it. we sent the tank out for reconditioning and rebuilt the front mastercylinders. While the tank was out we hooked a tempory fuel source to it and started it. it had a miss so we did a compression test and it has low compression in one cylinder. We think it is a stuck valve at that point the owner just left the bike with us. I would just like it to go away and I'm sure it would be a fantastic source of parts to anyone who had one of these bikes. It has just under 5100 original miles on it and it is in spectacular shape for it's age. any questions call Fuzzy at 410-320-5903 this bike doesn't have a title and is being sold for parts only !!!

MotoGP should return to Suzuka

Thu, 14 Jul 2011

Suzuka was always one of the great circuits; unfortunately the Japanese track was dropped following the tragic death of Daijiro Kato in 2003 as the course was deemed too tight and dangerous for the rapid four-strokes. Owned by Honda, Suzuka is a magical place combining arching S-bends from the start of the lap, high-speed in the middle and finished off with the technical and oft racing deciding final chicane, the location of many fantastic last lap battles. However the death of Kato, and Honda’s major hope of a Japanese champion, placed a dark cloud over the 5.807 kilometres of tarmac.

Is This the New Suzuki V-Strom 650?

Wed, 01 Jun 2011

Suzuki has released a teaser for a new mid-sized adventure bike, likely an updated V-Strom. The teaser campaign, which can be seen at Suzuki’s official website, shows the image above, along with the words: “Time For Real Adventures” and “Middle-Class New Motorcycle”. These hints suggest the new model will be an updated V-Strom 650, likely using an engine similar to the one powering the Suzuki Gladius SFV650.
