1982 Suzuki Gs on 2040-motos
Suzuki GS tech info
Suzuki GS description
This is a 1982 Suzuki GS450TXZ. I think the Z means it has
wire wheels instead of the cast wheels. I bought it new in 1984, it had been in
the crate for two years. It has always been stored inside. It has under 1800
miles and has never been damaged except for the car door dings on the right
side of the tank. The engine and transmission have never been taken apart. I
have made repairs to the carburetors and the front brake. Last winter I cleaned
it all up and painted the frame, the header pipes, and the spokes. It runs like
new although it has always needed a little warmup when first started. The tires
are original but they still look OK.
On Oct-12-16 at 17:31:50 PDT, seller added the following information: It has a brand new battery. |

Milan: Yoshimura special GSX-R600
Tue, 08 Nov 2011Celebrating their success at the Suzuka 8hr (last year), Suzuki in their longterm partnership with Yoshimura have put together this trick looking GSX-R600. The Gixxer six has been treated to the full Yoshimura race-kit alongside a host of other parts. Everything about this special is perfect; from the cool Yoshi paintscheme down to the faux race-headlight.
Suzuki Teases New Cruiser
Mon, 20 May 2013Friday morning, May 24, Suzuki will be unveiling a few new models. Details beyond that are slim, but Suzuki has sent us a teaser rendering of one of the models, shown above. The image isn’t very large at all, but judging by the headlight shape, we’re guessing it’ll be part of the M line of cruisers.
Schwantz School, the ultimate track experience?
Mon, 22 Aug 2011If having one-to-one instruction from an ex-MotoGP World Champion is your dream, then why not put the Schwantz School on your Christmas list for 2012. Ok, it’s in America and slightly more expensive than your average track day ($2750 for two days at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway) but many satisfied customers will argue this is the best rider training experience in the world. Your hard earned Dollar will see you alternate between the classroom and track from 8am until 4pm, then Kevin will take you on a track tour where he explains riding techniques and answers questions (he even drives the bus).
