1980 Suzuki GS850, 1980 SuzukiGS850, "Possibly the greatest street bike ever built" This has been said about the GS850. Wonderful old upright street bike. This thing turns heads, even in a crowd of brand new Harley's. This hunk of machinery will cruise all day long at 100 mph, or ride around town and still be easy on the rider. I have seen people get as high as 53 miles to the gallon. This bike is a one owner, with only 6328 miles on it. It is dressed in touring trim, with a Vetter "Windjammer" fairing on it. It also sports new tires, both front and rear. The seat has been changed from stock, and now has a dubble bucket touring saddle on it. This bike is just like grampa set it up in 1980, and then he never rode it!. It's not perfect, the pait has some flaws, It runs and rides great. All of our pre-owned bikes have been serviced by our factory trained mechanics, and will have fresh oil changes,and a full checklist has been completed. Also,we check all charging systems. Winning Start has been painted by Isle of Man artist Alan Perkin and the limited edition run of 250 prints are already selling on the online store of Leon Haslam’s website; www.leonhaslam.com. All of the prints are signed by Haslam and Perkin and are priced at £39.95. “Alan Perkin has produced a really nice painting and we wanted to get something out there in advance of Christmas and at an affordable price,” said Haslam. Mon, 03 Feb 2014Chad Reed tasted victory for the second time in three weeks at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., leading all 20 laps and fending off a last-lap challenge from rookie upstart Ken Roczen. Reed, who also won the Jan. 18 round in the second of three Anaheim races, now trails fellow Kawasaki rider Ryan Villopoto by just two points in the 2014 AMA Supercross championship race.
