This is a beautiful original 1978 Suzuki GS 1000E, VIN # GS1000 510580, Eng # S1000 117084,17,550 miles. Bike has been kept original except for the addition of the case savers. New tires, 70 miles on fork reseal, recent battery. Have owned this bike since 1980, am second owner, always garaged since new. Excellent condition, runs great. More photos and info on request.
Runs Perfectly. This bike is near perfect but feel free to ask any questions before bidding. There is a little of the clear coming off a case cover on the engine and there is a slight cracking of the white tape that is on the fuel tank. Other than that (and you might not have even noticed that) the bike is a 10. Call 715-572-9464 with any questions.

This bike is being relisted because I closed the auction early last time. The high bidder was from Australia and I had no prior contact with him to discuss how he was going to get it there and what I was going to be required to do. Mon, 14 Nov 2011Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points.
