This is a beautiful Norton bike! I purchased it from the original owner. The bike sat in his shop for 8 years. I cleaned the carbs, points, adj. valves and it fired on third kick.] The bike was blue when I got it, (not my favorite color) so I had it professionally painted with decal's clear coated...real nice! The bike is real solid, all numbers match. I believe it is stock, the original owner said the top end has only 1,000 miles since overhaul and I believe him. Real strong compression..has the combat cam. 2 into one pipe (tuned), all paper work good. Title in hand, extra parts go with the bike (factory tool kit, tire pump, spare real wheel, stock air cleaner, owners manual, repair manual. $500.00 depossit at end of auction - bike does not leave my property until paid in full. Kevin Schwantz To Race Goodwood Aboard Norton Featherbed
Wed, 23 Jul 2014If you didn’t already notice, Kevin Schwantz has a full plate this year. At 50 years young, the 1993 500cc World Champion will be competing at the prestigious Suzuka 8-Hours in a few weeks, and he’s followed that up with the announcement he will be making his Goodwood Revival debut during the September 12-14 event on an iconic Manx Norton ‘Featherbed’. Schwantz, last raced on UK soil during the 1994 British 500cc Grand Prix at Donington Park, but will tackle the daunting Goodwood Motor Circuit this year in the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy, which will be run for bikes of 1951-54 period.

Hizzy was a genius on a motorbike and when he was happy with everything around him, he was amongst the best in the world.
Arai unveil limited edition 2010 TT RX-7GP
Thu, 25 Mar 2010ARAI HAS launched a 2010 Isle of Man TT tribute RX-7 GP with a limited run of just 500 helmets.This black and white helmet design features the famous Isle of Man three-legged symbol in bronze and the famous TT letters. The design is the first in a series of three to be released by Arai. Bueys of series one will automatically be offered the chance to purchase series two and three before they go out for general sale.UK pricing and availability has yet to be announced, but the helmet will retail for 899 euros in Europe and £700 in the UK.The Isle of Man TT organisation will receive a commission for every helmet sold and the marshals will use the TT series for promotion.
