Barn Find! Semi complete with a title! Motor is good with great compression. Someone at one time started restoring the bike. New side covers. Gas tank is Nice.... no rust dings dents etc!!! Original front and rear wheels. Original headlight bucket. Someone put extended forks. Still has original triple trees. Original rear fender nice. Very good reasonable easy restoration piece! Bonhams Auctions 1966 Norton Manx For $100K

The top selling model of Bonhams annual sale of collectors’ motorcycles, a 1966 Norton 350cc Manx prepared by legendary tuner Francis Beart and raced by Joe Dunphy and Keith Heckles, fetched a whopping $100,481 last Sunday. The auction price more than doubled the top selling estimate and set a new world record for a Manx sold at auction. Eighty percent of the 436 lots offered sold at the auction totaling $2,168,314 Hot on its heels came the technological marvel from an earlier era that produced the sale’s best result when the 250cc Moto Morini Grand Prix racer from the 1960s fetched $145,081. The Molnar Norton Manx, prepared and entered by Fred Walmsley for the late World Champion Barry Sheene,  sold for $89,490.

Moto-Electra To Attempt World Record Coast-To-Coast Run For Electric Vehicles

On June 3rd, Moto-Electra, one of the pioneers in electric motorcycle technology, will attempt to break the world record for electric vehicles in a cross-continent ride spanning over 2500 miles.  The motorcycle? Moto-Electra’s signature electric bike based on the Norton Featherbed chassis that was patented in 1949.

SEE THE MACHINE that could propel Britain to a new motorcycle land speed world record at The Race Retro 2010 show, held at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry from 12th to 14th March. Almost a year has passed since Visordown broke the news of the planned UK assault on the land speed record - this coming August the Angelic Bulldog team travels to Bonneville, where it is hoping to smash the 400mph barrier and bring the motorcycle Land Speed Record back to the UK for the first time since 1937. The current record stands at 360.913mph over a kilometre.
