SELL WORLDWIDE 1972 Norton Combat Commando, with clear title. The engine needs overhaul. Connecting rods rotate on journal, but broken piston pieces are jamming flywheels. Cam needs to be re-ground. Lifters and push rods are missing. Cylinder head has been re-sleeved. Combat Head has the "C" stamped on it. Valves and rockers are installed. I recommend overhaul. Exhaust threads are very good. Spark plug threads are very good. Transmission seems good, shifts good. Clutch and primary seem good. All cables need to be replaced. Front hydraulic line needs to be replaced. Seat needs recovering. Gas cap and fuel petcocks are missing. Centerstand works well. Side stand is missing. Any motorcycle parts that you do not see are NOT included. 11 Teams Still in Running to Enter MotoGP in 2012 Season
Thu, 19 May 2011The International Motorcycling Federation announced 11 teams have passed the latest round of applications for the 2012 MotoGP season. MotoGP promoter Dorna and the International Road Racing Teams Association selected 11 new teams representing 16 riders to continue with the application process for the 2012 season. Applicants submitted detailed plans for participation to the IRTA by May 14.
Arai unveil limited edition 2010 TT RX-7GP
Thu, 25 Mar 2010ARAI HAS launched a 2010 Isle of Man TT tribute RX-7 GP with a limited run of just 500 helmets.This black and white helmet design features the famous Isle of Man three-legged symbol in bronze and the famous TT letters. The design is the first in a series of three to be released by Arai. Bueys of series one will automatically be offered the chance to purchase series two and three before they go out for general sale.UK pricing and availability has yet to be announced, but the helmet will retail for 899 euros in Europe and £700 in the UK.The Isle of Man TT organisation will receive a commission for every helmet sold and the marshals will use the TT series for promotion.
