Moto Guzzi Norge description
To find out about the Norge, click: http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/25498/Buyers-Guide-Specifications/2009-Moto-Guzzi-Norge-1200-GT.aspx I bought this bike new in 2010 from a KCMO dealer closing
Guzzi’s out. I had a BMW 1200 LT, and this sports touring Norge reminds me of
that, but it’s light, low, very manageable and as fast as you want. No scraps
or marks at all except on the nose where a garage door came down on it. See
pic. First trip to Sturgis I took off the middle side fairings. All sports
touring bikes seem to like the Tupperware – I don’t. Plus taking it off gives
better ventilation. I have them if you want. I put specific aftermarket riser bars on it, had the
seat built in the ball room area and installed a Break-Away Throttle Lock.
Works great. ABS, electric shield, 12 V under the seat, huge hard bags, etc. Made
front peg mounts if you want to remove the belly plastic and stretch out. No
issues with this bike. I just got Harley fever – but I’ll be back to
sports touring again. I have put 750 miles a day on this Norge and felt fine afterward. Will ride it to a destination within 400 miles of Kansas
City following payment.

Piaggio Multimedia Platform iPhone Connectivity Announced for Piaggio X10 Maxi-Scooter
Thu, 05 Jul 2012Piaggio announced a new iPhone connectivity system set to debut on its new X10 maxi-scooter. The Piaggio Multimedia Platform (PMP) will be available as a kit for the 125cc, 350cc and 500cc versions of the Piaggio X10, and eventually may be introduced to other models in the Piaggio Group (which would include the brands Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa.) Designed by Re:Lab, the PMP system turns an iPhone into an onboard computer and secondary display. The kit mounts the iPhone over the Piaggio insignia on the center of the X10′s handlebar which, from the rider’s perspective, puts it just below the scooter’s standard instruments.
