Moto Guzzi California EV11 Touring description

This was my late uncle's bike.  I will answer what questions I can.  The speedometer has been changed, I will include the old one. The bike had some paint work on the front fender which looks like it was done with a spray can. You have to look at it up close to see it. There are some scratches on the left motor guard which are small, but visible. There are other minor scratches. The tachometer works, but bounces around a bit. The bike has the screw on adapter for oil changes; just the adapter is 400 dollars. On a scale of 1-10 I would give this bike a 7.  I am flexible on pick up date as long as bike is paid in full.

The three models were previously introduced at the 2011 EICMA show as the V7, two-toned V7 Special and the shiny V7 Racer. Moto Guzzi has since given the matte V7 version a new name: the V7 Stone.

Piaggio Reports Q3 2012 Results

Thu, 01 Nov 2012

The Piaggio Group reported a 9.1% decrease in net sales over the first nine months of 2012 compared to the same period in 2011, thanks in large part to a strong decline in the European market for two-wheelers. According to Piaggio‘s third quarter 2012 report, the Italian manufacturer recorded 706.3 million euros (US$913.8 million) in motorcycle and scooter sales, compared to 777.2 million in sales over the same period of 2011. The Piaggio Group, which also includes the brands Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Vespa and other brands, sold 321,300 motorcycles and scooters in the first nine months of 2012, a year-on-year decrease of 3.5% from 2011.

Moto Guzzi

Trying to distort the concept of cafe racer as little as possible, Radical Guzzi specialists in their latest work pursued two goals: speed and style. The concept was developed by former BMW designer Sylvain Berneron. The 1200cc twin Moto Guzzi Griso has been pumped up to almost a liter and a half, equipped with a 1400 California cylinder-piston group.
