Moto Guzzi All description

Terrific Condition. This machine is no trap door and no piece of junk,,,May last year I rode North from Oklahoma (home) to Port Townsend, Washington (2500 miles). where my old sail boat and truck wait for me and my wife's vacation, before riding it North I rode it to work every day (Tulsa). This bike starts and runs like a million-bucks. I've owned it for many years. I've taken care of it and fixed whatever it needed. Bypassed a starter relay I didn't like and fooled with a few things, but not with a terrific Guzzi Engine. I''ve owned several Guzzis since 1973. Not much can stand up to the miles like they can. Near new tires front and back. great battery, Old, rough, used, saddle bags. Has all that you can see. Blinkers, spedometer. tack, brakes, lights, signals,,,work.  Starts, Runs,  Goes,,,Handles like a dream. Last Summer after sailing around for a couple weeks I rode North into Canada to Revelstoke, BC, up the Frazier River and back. I'll be at PT, Washington Aug 1st to hand this bike with it's signed/notarized title over to this auction's buyer. I'll start her up and ride her to buyer in Seattle or within 150 miles of Sea. Wa... This bike is not perfect , nothing used is. I just last spring, trusted it to ride me through nine states.,,enough said.... This is an As-is Auction. I will conduct this sale per ebay's rules. I will try to reply to questions. No tire-kickers. If you bid on this and win this auction, you are expected to pay for the bike. Seller reserves the right to end this auction at any time. Bike is also for sale locally.

Piaggio Announces 2011-2014 Business Plan – More Hybrids and Electric Models In the Pipeline

Wed, 14 Dec 2011

The Piaggio Group revealed its business plans for the next three years with a focus on developing fuel efficient engines and introducing new electric motors and hybrid powertrains. Beginning in 2012, Piaggio plans to introduce a new generation of engines with lower emissions and improved fuel economy. Examples include the new 350cc engine introduced in the Piaggio Beverly SportTouring and the fuel-injected 125cc four-stroke, three-valve engine equipped in the Vespa Quarantasei concept (which the company has apparently, and quietly, renamed as the much easier-to-pronounce Vespa 946).

Piaggio Reports Q3 2012 Results

Thu, 01 Nov 2012

The Piaggio Group reported a 9.1% decrease in net sales over the first nine months of 2012 compared to the same period in 2011, thanks in large part to a strong decline in the European market for two-wheelers. According to Piaggio‘s third quarter 2012 report, the Italian manufacturer recorded 706.3 million euros (US$913.8 million) in motorcycle and scooter sales, compared to 777.2 million in sales over the same period of 2011. The Piaggio Group, which also includes the brands Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Vespa and other brands, sold 321,300 motorcycles and scooters in the first nine months of 2012, a year-on-year decrease of 3.5% from 2011.

Piaggio Reports Q1 2013 Results

Mon, 06 May 2013

The Piaggio Group reported an 11.6% drop in net sales for the first quarter of 2013, the result of a struggling economy and unseasonably cold weather in Europe and a flatlining two-wheeler market in Vietnam. There was however some good news in North America, Vespa sales in India and a 27.8% increase in Moto Guzzi sales. According to the company’s first quarter report, Piaggio reported net sales of 303.4 million euros (US$396.8 million), down from net sales of 343.1 million euros reported the same quarter of 2012.
