Developed by heavyweight designer Massimo Tamburini and Claudio Castiglioni, the director of MV Augusta, the F4CC will be the most expensive and limited sportbikes made so far. Parts for the bike will be 90% hand crafted out of titanium and carbon fiber, only 100 vehicles will be produced which will feature a 200 hp, 1078 cc engine with a top speed of 195 mph and a Curb weight of 412 lbs. 2013 MV Agusta F4 and F4 RR – First Ride

Our Euro correspondent Tor Sagen is one of the first in the world to ride MV Agusta’s brand-new F4 and F4 RR, both equipped with lean-angle sensors, electronically assisted shifting and more. The up-spec RR flagship features an electronic Ohlins suspension and steering damper controlled by a dedicated Ohlins ECU unit, enabling full suspension adjustment (excluding preload) via the press of a button. Also new is the F4’s engine, with the RR claiming 201 crankshaft horsepower at 13,600 rpm, just shy of its new 14K redline.

MV Agusta Reveal WSBK Graphics

As MV Agusta unveiled its color scheme for the F4RR it will be campaigning in World Superbike this year, the red/silver graphic is a fitting homage to the company’s history, evoking memories of Giacomo Agostini, among others. World Superbike testing began today at Phillip Island, site of the first race of the season. The new season also marks MV Agusta’s return as a factory team to international racing in quite some time.
