To keep the engine’s performances to a high level, Kawasaki uses its first fully electronic throttle actuation system which enables the ECU to control the volume of both the fuel (via fuel injectors) and the air (via throttle valves) delivered to the engine. The engine is paired with a six speed transmission. The 6th gear is an overdrive gear, contributing to better fuel economy when cruising at motorway speeds. Another interesting feature offered by the Kawasaki VN1700 Voyager is its K-ACT ABS system which offers a strong stopping power regardless of the road conditions. MSF Begins Year-long Real World Motorcycle Safety Study

Inside there was a double page spread, with a fresh faced Jeremy McGrath resting a leg over his #15 Honda CR125. Sporting a pair of fluro MX trousers with a, now retro, bright white surname emblazoned jersey, and casting an eye over a seriously vast motocross park. Kawasaki Announces New Protection Plans
Tue, 19 Aug 2014Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. announced recently that after 28 years of providing coverage to Kawasaki customers, the Good Times Protection Plan (GTPP) has been rebranded as Kawasaki Protection Plus (KPP). Kawasaki Protection Plus offers all of the same factory backed coverage and extended service contract programs as GTPP, but through Kawasaki’s partnership with Service Group, KPP has added new products including GAP, Tire & Wheel, Prepaid Maintenance as well as all-encompassing coverage for other OEM brands in the form of Preferred Protection Plus.
